This was intended for my wooded pond area where I sit to have coffee on weekends. But, that would be a disgrace to this bistro set. Coming out the box, I adored the feel and look of the set. It did require an amount of strength to lift and assemble so I had my fifteen year old assemble it. For him, the job was quick and easy. The final product is a weathered black SOLID, HEAVY cast iron beauty. The curves and details put into this set is amazing. I cannot emphasize how heavy this set is. Needless, to say this set is in the front patio area where I now have coffee every morning. Such a wonderful buy! 10/10 on price, quality, and satisfaction.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Will the chair legs scratch ceramic tile when dragged across the floor? This set in going into a sunroom and I would like to protect the tile.

Yes, it certainly will scratch the tile. You could use felt under the legs though...
