How do you attach the headboard to a bed frame? is the product supposed to come with screws?

My headboard didnt come with any instructions or hardware. It is difficult to find the screws that fit. Figured since I paid for a nice headboard, it would atleast come with instructions, and maybe hardware too. Or atleast give the size of the screws in the instructions. Help please with what size to buy...
